Introduction

As the UK continues to navigate rising costs, Corps Monitoring are equipped and ready to work with customers alongside our colleagues in Corps Security to provide alternative solutions that provide enhanced levels of security whilst achieving efficiencies, introducing technology lead solutions and delivering commercial savings through an integrated service delivery approach.

Client Need

In 2023 Corps Security customer announced their operations would cease production in early 2024.

This would result in a reduction in occupancy at their premises and therefore the need to reduce the physical security presence and overall contract spend.

Some physical security presence would still be required as a small team would continue to occupy the premises.

The local area had experienced some issues with antisocial behaviour so around the clock security cover was still required across the site.

Achieving Contract Efficiencies Within The Finance Sector

Our Solution

Corps Security, with assistance from Corps Monitoring, assisted the client to complete a full security review. This helped to highlight any threat or vulnerabilities that needed to be addressed. This helped Corps understand the potential security risks and opportunities for technology driven efficiencies.

Based on the reduced occupancy levels in the building, we were able to suggest a scaled back physical security operation that incorporating the best of what Corps can deliver which was a truly integrated service via physical security and remote CCTV monitoring.

The guardforce was re-engineered to reduce by over half whilst the security effectiveness was enhanced through the remote monitoring of the CCTV, intruder and access control systems via our NSI gold accredited Alarm Receiving Centre in Glasgow.

This released over 50% of cost savings back to a very delighted customer whilst maintaining a very capable security posture to deliver both short and medium term asset protection to the business.

The security service is further bolstered by our regionally based duty management team, who provide keyholding and mobile response services as required. They carry out additional perimeter patrols and ensure a visible deterrent.

Aligning these three specific security measures has enabled Corps Security and Corps Monitoring to save our customer money, without compromising on the levels of protection in place.
