CCTV monitoring picked up an activation of movement on a closed building site in Edinburgh. An intruder had entered the premises and an immediate audio warning was issued.
The individual was asked to leave site while a local security officer was dispatched and the police was contacted. The police caught the person on site and they were arrested.

In the course of ongoing, CCTV monitoring an unknown person was found on a client building site. He was seen attempting to steal a wheelie bin containing building materials. An audio warning was issued, detailing that he was being recorded and asking him to leave the site. The intruder chose to ignore the warning and continued to try and make his way off site with the materials.
Local Police and Security Keyholders were informed and made their way to the site. The intruder then left without the materials he had attempted to steal. The intruder was found by Police nearby and taken into custody.

Late on a recent Saturday evening, CCTV monitoring picked up an activation of movement on scaffolding at a building site in Crieff, a Scottish market town in Perth and Kinross. The site had been accessed by what appeared to an individual under the influence of alcohol.
An immediate audio warning was issued to the intruder while local Police and Security Keyholders for the site were alerted. The audio warning was enough to encourage the intruder to leave the site without incident.

A former Hospital in Aberdeen, now a vacant Listed building was targeted by 3 young boys, who entered site with a set of ladders. They proceeded to use the ladders to gain entry to an upper floor as all the ground floors access points had been covered up with boarding.
The alarm was actioned within 4 seconds, with audio warnings issued to the youths to deter them from trying to access the building, audio warnings that they chose to ignore.
Local Police and Security Keyholders for the site were dispatched in under 3 minutes from the time of the initial activation. They both attended site within 15 minutes of the call and apprehended the youths whilst they were still within the building.
In the early hours of a Tuesday morning, CCTV monitoring picked up an activation of movement on a private residence in Edinburgh. The footage shows an individual staggering into the rear garden of the property where they collapse onto the lawn.
Our CMC responded to the activation within 60 seconds, giving an audio warning was dispatched to the individual, instructing them to leave the premises. The resident was also contacted and made aware of the individual in the garden. At this time, identifying the individual in the garden’s condition, the police were contacted to remove the individual from the property. Very shortly thereafter, paramedics arrived on site to assess the condition of the individual and remove them from the property.
At approximately 01:35am on a Monday morning, the CMC received an activation of two intruders at a wholesale retailer in Leigh, Lancashire. The signal was answered by our CCTV operator within one second of the activation. Yellow demarcation in the CCTV footage shows how CCTV engineers have programmed a protected area at the site. When a person or large enough object enters this specific area, the alert signal is triggered.
Immediately, our CCTV operator issued an audio warning to the intruders via on site two-way speakers to leave the site. Blue lines in the CCTV footage show movement detecting analytics programmed into the monitoring system based on size to determine people or vehicles based on size. The warning was ignored and the keyholder and local police we contacted.
Within minutes, local police and the designated key holders arrived on site and the intruders were apprehended and arrested.
At approximately 6:35pm on a weekday evening, the CMC received an activation of several youths entering a building site in Edinburgh. Cyan lines on the CCTV monitoring footage show the camera detecting the individuals on site.
Our CCTV operator responded to the alarm signal within seconds and issued an audio warning to the intruders via a two-way speaker system informing them to leave site immediately. The youths ignored the audio warnings and proceeded onto the building site.
The team in the control room immediately escalated this to Police Scotland and passed the details to the site’s designated security keyholder to attend the site as per protocol.
No updates on the outcome of this incident have been advised from the police or keyholder.
At approximately 11:49pm, we received an activation of a single intruder at a client site in the West Midlands. CCTV monitoring captured the individual appearing to steal a camera from within a vehicle garage area.
Within 60 seconds, details and a description of the intruder were passed to the designated keyholder and police who arrived on site within 30 minutes to conduct a full site sweep. Once completed and responders were sure no intruders were still on site, the site was declared secure again.
In broad daylight, we received an intruder alarm activation of two individuals who had scaled a wall to a clients construction site in Glasgow.
Our team responded in under 30 seconds via the loudspeaker system, instructing the intruders that they were being monitored on a CCTV system and instructed them to leave the site immediately which frightened the intruders, and they scrambled back over the fence and left the property.
The designated keyholder and local police were immediately called and given descriptions of the intruders. The police arrived on site within 10 minutes of our call and conducted a site scan.
At around 00:50am, we received an activation of a single individual on site at a customer warehouse.
Within 30 seconds of receiving the alarm signal triggered by the analytics on site, our team used a network of loudspeakers on site, to instruct the individual they were being monitored by CCTV and to leave the premises immediately. The intruder did not comply and continued trespassing.
In under three minutes from the intruder entering the site, our team contacted the local police and designated keyholder who arrived together on site within 15 minutes and arrested the intruder. Thereafter, a full security scan was conducted by the keyholder and the police to ensure the entire site was re-secured.
